The first study, based on the relationship between occlusion and strength, monitored the evolution of muscle performance after the application of dental bites and Taopatch® on a sample of 18 athletes. The research team performed the evaluations through 4 scientifically validated instruments (electromyography, squat jump, hand grip, kinesiography). The results confirm that, alone or associated with the bite, Taopatch® leads to an improvement in muscle performance and balance. In particular, there have been significant improvements in the muscular strength of the athletes, resulting in 2 centimeters of higher jump and a greater hand strength.
It has been proven, by a second study, that by using the device, the athlete can activate more muscle fibers simultaneously and not on one side, thus avoiding dysmetry. By activating the muscle better, one gets significant energy saving that allows the athlete a better performance and a greater physical endurance. The research has shown that muscle performance and balance improve significantly even after a large workload. The athlete with Taopatch®, after 4 hours of training, is less tired than when he started, while an athlete without devices is much more tired after training.
In case of injuries or trauma, very frequent in sports, apart from physical injuries, it often happens that the body loses and/or decreases its ability to assess well the information that comes from the outside, because the receptors send inferior or discordant sensations to the central nervous system. Also, in this area, it has been observed by athletic trainers that Taopatch®, integrated with protocols and a dedicated exercise program, can reduce stress at rest, speed up and complete the restoration of joint functionality, reducing the recovery time.
