Carlotta Gilli awarded at The Winter Flower

At the Academic Theater of Castelfranco Veneto, during the evening dedicated to the Il Fiore d'Inverno award (formerly Radicchio d'Oro), one of the most exciting moments came with the intervention of Carlotta Gilli, Paralympic champion and point of reference for Italian and international swimming.

Awarded by Dr. Fabio Fontana, in the Sport category, alongside other great protagonists of the year, Gilli shared with the public the importance of sport as an essential ally for well-being: "Any sporting activity is fundamental. It is good physically, mentally and allows you to create bonds and friendships, even more so for children who face a few more difficulties in everyday life."

Her deep vision of swimming as a tool for growth, inclusion and responsibility has pushed her to carry out concrete projects for others as well. Carlotta has in fact started hundreds of free swimming courses throughout Italy for children with disabilities, a commitment that she carries out with determination and sensitivity. "Life has given me the opportunity to make my childhood dream come true," she said, "and in recent years swimming has given me so much joy. This is why I feel obliged to give something back to others."

We are proud that our brand ambassador has been recognized with this prestigious award for her outstanding achievements and generosity in turning her achievements into opportunities for others. A shining example of how sport can really make a difference!
