Mauro Spagolla shines at the Prealpi Master Show

Mauro Spagolla stood out at the Prealpi Master Show, finishing with an excellent ninth place overall with his Skoda Fabia RS Rally2, completely branded Taopatch®! A result that confirms him as the leader of a long series of successes and podiums that continue to enrich the showcase of the home team. The Prealpi Master Show, known for its spectacularity and the high level of the participants, represented an important showcase for our brand ambassador and his co-pilot Giuseppe Zamboni. But also Alberto Spagolla, Mauro's son, who finishedeighth always aboard a Taopatch® branded car. We can only be proud of these results that show that with our technology, sportsmen have an edge. 

And, speaking of gears, a few days before the race, Mauro and his team presented us with a preview of their car to admire it in its beauty and power. During the meeting, we had the opportunity to ask them some questions. 

Hi Mauro, thank you for taking the time. How did you approach the world of rallying? 

I approached rallying by looking at others starting when I was 3 years old. It is a passion that I have always had because, when I was a child, the San Martino rallies passed through my town and from there I did everything to get in the car and at 40 I succeeded. Unfortunately late, but oh well, better late than never. 

What does the Prealps represent for you? 

The Prealpi Master Show is a race that I have done for a few years, but I have been missing since 2014. I like the route: I have always done good races on this type of surface. 

Can you describe your car? 

It is the latest evolution of the Skoda, the RS Evo, which is the latest addition to Delta Rally. A brand new car that I did three races with and I couldn't get into a better car

How did you hear about Taopatch®? 

Through Dr. Fabio Fontana who is a fellow countryman. We at Enego have one thing that unites us: the friends we have had from birth we carry them for life!

Can you describe the benefits you have received from wearing Taopatch®?

But the thing that really surprised me most of all is the performance during the Bassano Rally 2 years ago. I'm a certain age, 60 years old, and holding such a long race all day inside a racing car is not easy. Hi Giuseppe, thank you for taking the time. How did you approach the world of rallying? 

When I was 14-15 years old, I used to go to see rallies with a moped and at 19, hidden from my parents, I signed up for a race. I got the car and started as a driver. Then, after a few years, I became passionate about the role of navigator and since then 25 years and 147 races have passed! 

What are the difficulties of your job? 

The navigator has a fundamental role because he reads the road to the driver, but he is also the one who manages the appearance of the car (such as tire pressure) and the driver's concentration. It is a very very particular role, they call us the "cockpit psychologist" because we always have to give conviction to the driver as well.

I have been using Taopatch® for 3 years. I started using them when I started running with Mauro and they helped me a lot. I had a somewhat chronic cervical disease. The driver has the support of the steering wheel, while the navigator suffers all the repercussions and I, at the end of each race, had pain everywhere.
