An Acknowledgment of Italian Excellence: The Golden Lion to Dr. Fontana!

Today we celebrated Dr. Fabio Fontana's valuable contribution to innovation and entrepreneurial development, recognized with the awarding of the Golden Lion of Merit, as part of the Venice International Grand Prix at the Palazzo della Regione del Veneto in Venice. 

The Golden Lion is one of the most prestigious awards in the world, a symbol of excellence in the artistic, cultural, entrepreneurial and social scene. Its origins date back to 1932, the year in which it was established on the occasion of the Venice International Film Festival, the oldest film festival in the world. Today, the award has expanded its boundaries, extending far beyond cinema and becoming a symbol of merit in multiple sectors. 

During the award ceremony, Dr. Sileno Candelaresi, President of the Golden Lion, said: "With extraordinary vision, determination and pioneering spirit, Dr. Fabio Fontana has been able to combine entrepreneurship, scientific research and technological innovation, giving life to a reality at the forefront of the international scene... In turn, Dr. Fontana expressed emotion and gratitude: "It is a great honor. All of you entrepreneurs know the effort that can be behind this result. In fact, I would like to dedicate this award to the people who have supported me from the beginning when no one believed me, when I started in a cellar without a penny, with the dream of changing the way we treat ourselves in the world... They are the reason why this reality exists and obviously thanks also to all the researchers who have worked hard over the years, my team and my family to always have to put up with the absurd schedules and trips we make to carry this thing out in the world. Thank you".
