Rome, 28 Mar. - The Body Station of Taopatch , the technology based on photobiomodulation, has been delivered to the Ca' dei Fiori association. Present at the ceremony were dr. Michele Basso, director of the association, Dr. Angela Lazzari, nursing coordinator, dr. Fabio Fontana, CEO & Founder of Tao Technologies and Mrs. Emanuela Battaggia, Shiatsu operator (Masunaga method) and Taopatch professional applicator. And it is Mrs. Battaggia who, after observing the progress in the patients of the Sartor Center, thought that this innovative technology could also be of great help to the Ca' dei Fiori association, the retirement home where her mother is hospitalized. Like the Sartor Center, this structure is also dedicated to the psycho-physical well-being of guests through targeted programs and creative activities. Thanks to the care of the staff, Mrs. Battaggia's mother, bedridden, has shown significant improvements, and the use of the Body Station could further amplify the benefits: "I am very happy - says Fabio Fontana - of this donation because, in this way, we offer those who cannot expose themselves to sunlight a concrete opportunity to improve their well-being and therefore the quality of life. This means that, in a single instrument, the two most important wavelengths of therapeutic light that the cells of the human body should receive several hours a day, red light and infrared light, coexist. A very useful light for Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and all neurological disorders and is also essential for the reduction of pain, but above all it also gives an important benefit on a psycho-emotional level. A solution that goes hand in hand with other ideas that aim to improve the well-being of patients". The Ca' dei Fiori association is a non-profit organization of social utility that manages two residential facilities and a day center in the provinces of Treviso and Venice. It offers assistance to elderly people who are not self-sufficient, providing personalized services and activities aimed at maintaining motor and cognitive skills: "The facilities - recalls Michele Basso - have common areas for recreational-rehabilitation activities, dining rooms and rooms equipped to ensure the well-being and safety of guests. The Ca' dei Fiori facility in Quarto d'Altino, in the province of Venice, houses 50 non-self-sufficient elderly people and 10 users of the day center, while that of Casale sul Sile, in the province of Treviso, welcomes 107 non-self-sufficient and 20 in the day center.
