Meet Viola Lallo, our brand ambassador

We are happy to share an exclusive interview with Viola Lallo, a leading figure in the Italian and international karate scene.

With determination, talent and a spirit of sacrifice, Viola recently won the title of Absolute Italian Champion in the kumite category (-55 kg) for the third consecutive year, confirming herself as one of the most solid and consistent athletes in the discipline.

At the international level, he boasts a bronze at the 2025 European Championships, a silver at the 2024 European Championships, and a bronze at the 2018 Mediterranean Games. In addition to these, there are several podiums in the stages of the Karate 1 Premier League, which testify to his constant presence at the highest levels.

In this interview, she tells us about her sporting journey, the difficulties faced, the unforgettable moments and what motivates her every day to give her best.

Hi Viola, thank you for taking the time today. How did you approach the world of Karate?

I approached the world of karate when I was 6 years old, I was very young and it was love at first sight. That feeling of running barefoot on the tatami, of starting to approach it with kicks punches, despite the fact that in the gym she was the only female who practiced this discipline at the time.

I immediately liked the fact that karate was not just a sport but a discipline in its own right, respect for the dojo, for the master and for the companions, teaching how to "fight", but always in a controlled way.

What are the biggest difficulties of this sport?

One of the biggest difficulties of this sport is certainly its complexity: that is, being a situational sport you are always confronted with different opponents from all over the world and it is not certain that if you have won once or twice with an opponent, the third time you will certainly win.

The combat trend changes from year to year, we have many attacks both of arms and legs that we have to target at very high speeds with control and especially on the move. Therefore, having a good technical, physical and mental preparation in this sport is very important.

You have won many Italian and international titles: which of these has excited you the most?

Every race always brings with it great emotions, certainly the Italian titles give a lot of satisfaction for a sportsman, because establishing yourself several times in your country is already a great confirmation of the work that one practices daily.

A race that I particularly remember, especially in terms of sensations and emotions, was The Premier League in Antalya in 2024 (WKF world elite circuit). I had a very difficult draw, but despite everything I felt in perfect balance with myself. I was focused like never before, every movement seemed slowed down, under control... When I won the match that took me to the final, I exploded with joy: I couldn't believe it!

How did you hear about Taopatch®?

I learned about Taopatch® through an osteopath who uses these devices. During a yoga training course, he explained to me how they work and they immediately fascinated me. For this reason, with my technical director of the Sports Center, I got in touch with Dr. Giuliano Angeloni, Taopatch® professional number one in Rome, who has been working with the devices for years now.

How is nanotechnology helping you in training, competition and recovery?

First, we had an initial visit to see my posture and any dysmetries that need to be corrected. The goal was to improve performance through the application of nanotechnology.

In recent years I suffered from a constant and daily headache, caused by protrusions and cervical hernias due to overload. Added to this were lower back pain and back pain that prevented my daily workout from being productive. Thanks to Taopatch®, I immediately noticed an improvement: the headache subsided, the balance and support of the feet became more stable, and I felt a new energy in facing training, competitions and post-race recovery.

What other aspects of your health has improved?

In the post-race, I recover much faster, both physically and mentally. I was taught where to apply Taopatch® devices on recovery points, to promote a more effective recovery after intense workouts or competitions. I also started using the Taopatch® EMOTION, applying them on my wrists before the race. This helped me better manage pre-race anxiety and improve sleep quality.

Do you have any technical advice to give to amateur sportsmen or to those who would like to start this sport?

My advice is to approach sport – or any discipline – always with love and fun. That's where it all begins: this is the real secret to being able to take great satisfaction, which goes far beyond the medals. Another fundamental aspect is to take care of your body and mind. In this journey, I can say that Taopatch® nanotechnology has given me enormous help.

What is the secret to having a successful sports career?

The secret lies in putting love into what you do day after day, facing what comes with a smile. In a sports career there are periods where things work and everything goes the right way, but it doesn't always go that way. Every sportsman goes through, sooner or later, moments of disappointment or discouragement. The secret is to be able to face and overcome them, because it is from there that you grow, becoming not only better athletes, but also stronger people.

What myth would you like to dispel about karate?

I would like to dispel the myth that karate is just a sport made up of screams and jumps. In reality, it is much more than that. Karate teaches us respect, discipline and above all helps us to develop an awareness of our body. A fundamental aspect, today more than ever, also to deal with unpleasant or potentially dangerous situations, such as an aggression. Karate teaches self-defense and this can save your life a lot.

Would you recommend Taopatch® to other athletes and professional colleagues?

Yes, I would recommend Taopatch® to all athletes, both amateur and professional, because it not only improves performance, but also promotes physical and mental well-being. We often don't realize the power that light has... until we really try it. I have always believed that light had extraordinary power, but Dr. Fontana had the wonderful intuition to bring it into people's lives and transform it into something concrete, to our advantage. I would like to express my sincere congratulations to him on this invention, which – I am sure – will win over anyone who tries it.
