EC STER Immersion Cold Sterilizer 15 Single-Dose Vials

EC STER Cold Sterilizing Free Radical Generator (15 single-dose vials)

The information contained herein is intended exclusively for professional operators.

EC STER is a cold sterilizing solution that allows you to sterilize and simultaneously clean dirty instruments in a single treatment (in the absence of detergents and enzymes) through an immersion procedure. It quickly sterilizes all surfaces of the instrument that have come into contact with the solution, thus preventing the risk of infection for the operator; at the same time it removes and eliminates residual biological material.

The active solution, rich in free radicals, eliminates bacteria, viruses, fungi and spores without damaging materials, offering a safe and effective alternative to traditional sterilization methods. Thanks to its fast action and effectiveness, it guarantees high protection against contamination in just a few minutes, preserving the integrity of the instruments. The resulting effect is ideal for healthcare environments, dental practices and laboratories.

Main features:

  • 15 single-dose vials of 9 g
  • Scientifically tested.
  • The uptime of the solution is: 1 minute of sterilization under clean conditions and 10 minutes for reconditioning of dirty instruments.

How to use EC STER:

EC STER allows you to sterilize and simultaneously clean dirty instruments with a single treatment through an immersion procedure in its solution for the release of free radicals with reducing activity.

How to prepare EC STER

 1. Pour the contents of 1 single-dose bottle into 2 liters of water and start stirring at the same time as decanting. Mains water is sufficient to room temperature.

2. Continue stirring until the powder is completely dissolved.

3. Wait about 10 minutes. The solution will have the characteristic pale yellow color that confirms the beginning of sterilizing activity. (If the tap water has a degree of hardness greater than 20° F the solution may appear cloudy).

4. Immerse the dirty instruments in the solution and leave them immersed for about 10 minutes. Make sure that the solution penetrates all cavities. After 2 minutes of immersion, all surfaces that have come into contact with the solution are sterile. Cleansing is complete after about 10 minutes (depending on the degree of soiling).

5. Remove instruments, rinse thoroughly and dry with sterile technique.

N.B. - For the preparation of the active solution, use clean containers, which do not contain traces of surfactant detergents or acidic substances. - When handling instruments with tungsten components, it is recommended to Respect the indicated contact times. - Keep the basin containing the solution covered to avoid prolonged contact with oxygen in the air.
