Taopatch® with Luca Rigoldi until the last challenge

On October 19, 2024 in Villaverla, Luca Rigoldi played the last match of his career, an exciting and significant event that marked the end of a very successful sporting journey. The match took place in the Palasport of his hometown, a place full of symbolism for Luca, who wanted to end his career in front of his people and his fans who have supported him for years.

We too have had the honor of supporting Luca in recent years with our nanotechnology and calling him our brand ambassador. We are proud that Taopatch® has been a constant support during his training and recovery. We have seen Luca achieve increasingly important results, managing to confirm the title of European Champion in the super-bantamweight category, but also establishing himself as WBC International Champion in the featherweight category twice.

On the evening of his farewell to boxing he faced Sergio "Torito" Gonzalez, an opponent who, although technically less rated, has staked everything on strength. But with his classic aggressive and tactical style, Luca controlled the match, offering a solid performance full of energy, showing once again that grit that has made him a point of reference in Italian, European and international boxing.

The match, which ended with the clear victory of our champion, was an opportunity to celebrate his extraordinary career. After the sound of the last gong, the audience stood up in a long ovation, while emotional moments followed one another on stage. Rigoldi thanked his family, his coaches and all those who accompanied him on his journey. A special tribute was reserved for his teacher, Gino Freo, and the young athletes of his two gyms (Dynami Boxe in Thiene and 268R in Vicenza), to whom he will devote himself full-time as a coach and mentor.

For us, Luca Rigoldi will always remain a champion in and out of the ring. We thank him for the incredible emotions and for demonstrating how to turn adversity into opportunities to win and triumph. Thank you, Luca, we will always carry you in our hearts!
